Our first "Where's Niko" contest has ended. Thanks to everyone who entered on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram.

The results are in, and a winner has been chosen. What does the winner get? A gachapon from Gundam Front (which is where the Gundam statue is located). It's like the coin-operated ball machines that are usually around restaurants and malls, but in Japan, they are everywhere and we got (a ball prize, not the machine) one specifically for our winner, shipped all the way from Japan!

We don't know what's in the ball - so our winner has to find out!

So what was the correct answer? We were looking for DiverCity, Odaiba, Tokyo. Niko was in front of the RX-78-2 Gundam from Mobile Suit Gundam (Keat learned that later). Just a head's up, Mobile Suit Gundam first aired in Japan in 1979, and aired in America in 2001 (and ran for 43 episodes)

We'll have more "Where's Niko" contests as we explore more of Japan, including famous landmarks, and not-so-famous areas. See http://japanoblog.com/wheres-niko to the official contest rules.

(We also learned about MegaWeb History Garage, which I thought was an online warehouse or something. Nope, it's a Car Theme Park that we have to try out when we go back.)

Again, thanks to everyone who entered, and we hope you win in the future!
