Since 3am, it's been snowing in our town (still NC), and we are...well...stuck. Literally.

So we decided to make our first "Japan-o-days" video. Although it's not exactly a "Day in the life in Japan," it's still interesting regardless. We got about a foot of snow in our area, and while that's nothing new, it's still something to enjoy - as much as possible.

It's still snowing as we post this video, and it should still snow until tonight, so we are still stuck in the house.

Regardless, here's the recipe for Toad in the Hole. It's really simple.

IngredientsX pieces of bread
X eggs
Cooking spray/butter
Any toppings you want

EquipmentPan
Cookie cutter/glass

Alright, now that you have everything, use the cookie cutter to cut a shape out of the slice of bread - if you don't have a cookie cutter, use a glass that has a circumference smaller than the bread, and repeat for as many slices of bread as you have.

Make sure the pan is well oiled/buttered (butter will provide a better taste), and is hot enough. We recommend medium high.

Place the bread in the pan, and wait a few seconds. Next, add the egg (if you want to scramble it, make sure to mix it before you add it). One fried egg or 1/2 - 3/4 scrambled egg per bread.

Wait until the egg has solidified a bit, about 2 minutes. Flip. Wait another 2 minutes. Serve.

That's it. Kyle likes to add Sriracha, and I like mine plain. Enjoy!
