One of the teachers at my schools asked me in the teachers room "Where in England are you from?" (after much attempted English). I tried to tell her that I wasn't from England, but I was from America. However, since she saw the poster for Fantasic Beasts and Where to Find Them, and she thought I looked like Newt Scamander, I had to be from England.
Regardless of how many times I told her I was from America, she kept wanting me to point out on a map of England where I was from.
It did not go well.
